Posted by imoh stretch jeremiah on Apr 10 2011

wat is happening in akwa ibom state? i hope the wind of change is felt there.

Posted by Nats Odaudu on Apr 10 2011

Election was manipulated in omala LG area in favor of the Governor’s son who was not popular at all. PDP won against the will of the people.

Posted by Jide on Apr 10 2011

The fact that Dimeji and Obasanjo lost in Abeokuta makes the election results credible. Sometimes projections are wrong. INEC is doing a fantastic job. God bless Nigeria

Posted by Rahynart on Apr 10 2011

Nasarawa state wias ur own result?

Posted by Damian on Apr 10 2011

This is the beauty of Democracy, Upset in holy places. Thank God the Nigerian People are becoming wiser. Prof. Jega good job. Lets see what happens in the subsequent elections

Posted by Deyinks on Apr 10 2011

Ignorant Nigerians, You concluded that PDP lost based on the results of just a few wards. The fact speaks for itself. PDP is still a party to beat.

Posted by Dina on Apr 10 2011

It seems that people started celebrating too early- the results coming in suggests that PDP are on track to maintain their majority in the senate, though I hope their majority will be much slimmer this time around as we do need to see competitive politics. There are so people out there who will not accept the results and will cry foul play by PDP, no matter what. At least you can all see that even in a free election, PDP will still come out tops- hopefully, they will sit up now and do the job they are supposed to do. Has Bankole definitely lose his election?

Posted by Ugokez on Apr 10 2011

Good results so far! Congrats to INEC (Jega) and fellow Nigerians. We are truly on our way to true democracy. It is still work in progress.

my fellow Nigerians, let us pray to God…it seems that we are still in our normal progress( bomb blast, assisination, poverty e.t.c.)

Posted by Tony Smart on Apr 10 2011

Welcome to the art of rigging- RIGGING 101. I hope the lawyers are getting ready for another legal showdown. As for PDP, old habits never die out!

Posted by Emmanuel on Apr 10 2011

Why did you withdraw the result of Anambra state which I saw published in the morning hours? I hope we are still safe…

Posted by Newmind on Apr 10 2011

Kudos to INEC,lead by Jega for giving us free and credible elections. I am proud to be a Nigerian. Kudos to President Goodluck Jonathan for the courage in reforming INEC and appointing Jega. Kudos to GEJ,I am very proud of my president.

Posted by Akpenpuun Tarbunde on Apr 10 2011

In Benue,Akaageger was leading Gemade this morning in Vandeikya,Ushongo,Katsina/Ala and Kwande LGA while the results of Konshisha were cancelled as most council wards there did not see the ballot papers as they were hijacked and thumbprinted in Gemade’s parlour. So how come is Gemade Suddenly declared winner now given that we have only seven LG’s in the district?

Posted by Felix Edoja on Apr 10 2011

What about any result 4rm Delta state? Pls paste any one that is available.

Posted by Emebo Anthony on Apr 10 2011

PDP again. How did David Mark win? The more the delay of results, the more the chances for the manipulation of results.

Posted by zikman on Apr 10 2011

i m of all men most ecstatic at the results of ogun, osun and lagos states.pls, how did events upturn again in favour of PDP in Kwara and benue?we need to check those states as the major men there have lost their popularity.Anyway, the election is free and fair to an extent.kudos to Jonathan first, then Jega and his team.

Dis is d worst election so far in nigeria, how can ACN led in kwara central and PDP later emarge d winner.Jega u ur a complite failure.Ayobami

Posted by Michael on Apr 10 2011

Kudos GEJ, kudos Jega, both of them are serious about what they alter out. To Ogun state “i dey laugh o” and say again that “i still dey laugh” now they will know power does not belong them but God, given it to whomever he wills. To Nigerians that is why we need to vote for GEJ. GEJ has fulfilled of his promised that “all votes must count”
